Back to Current Issue

to remember october
she reads beauty
swept through grass
in brush of bark
and the pleasing roundness of fruit
pressed between fingertips

she sees stories
told through glass
in hush of holy
and the Stationed sternness of scenes
caressed by rainbow stain

she hears her name
sung through silence
in rush of flame
and the golden wideness of hope
confessed in dance of light
